Hanna Golden

Hanna is a classically trained comprehensive pilates instructor (600 hours from Core Pilates NYC) and an active contemporary dancer based in Brooklyn. Hanna was first introduced to Pilates while earning her BFA in dance & BSA in Psychology in 2018, but she dove deeper into her pilates practice when rehabbing from a major lumbar spinal fusion in 2023. Hanna found that Pilates not only sped up the healing of her body, but it kept her healthy, strong, and aware of her body long after the healing process had occurred. After seeing the benefits of maintaining a consistent Pilates practice, Hanna chose to incorporate Pilates into a career to help people find the same benefits she found.

Hanna is a firm believer that healthy bodies require healthy minds. She strives to incorporate mindfulness into all her sessions to keep the mind active and connected with the body throughout. Because of her dance background, Hanna teaches with dynamics, rhythm, breath, athleticism, and is always looking to dig deeper into how our anatomy can support us functionally. Hanna also has a soft spot for injury recovery, and is always looking to share her knowledge with others regarding how Pilates can meet your body where it's at each day.

Outside of the studio you can find Hanna walking her Basset Hound/Lab mix "Chuck", performing around the city, or reading a book at the park (fiction only please!).
